About VidModelHub

VidModelHub tracks AI video generation model releases: what's confirmed, what's rumored, what things cost, and how models actually compare when you run the same prompt on each. The site exists because release information in this space is dominated by lookalike sites with a sales agenda — many of them presenting unreleased models as available today.

Methodology

  • Confirmed means stated or demonstrated by the model developer — a conference demo, an official blog post, an API changelog. We link the source.
  • Rumored means everything else, and we label it that way in the text, not in a footnote. Estimates (like release windows derived from past cadence) are marked as our own arithmetic.
  • Tested means we ran it ourselves and paid for the API calls. Comparison clips are published with their prompts, measured costs, and generation times, unedited.
  • Every page shows its last-updated date. The release calendar is reviewed daily and updated at least weekly.

Monetization, plainly

The site runs ads and will offer paid video generation through licensed third-party API providers when models become available — one-time credit packs, no subscriptions. Editorial judgments (which model is better for what) are not for sale; the day-one cost tests we publish are the same numbers we use ourselves.

Independence

VidModelHub is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ByteDance, Kuaishou, Google, OpenAI, or any model developer. Seedance, Kling, Veo, and Sora are trademarks of their respective owners.
